So you want to get rid of cellulite? Here's how!

What Is Cellulite?


Cellulite is a unique condition that may not look the best but is certainly curable. It may take some time to see the benefits of what I am going to suggest, but I do think that you will reap the benefits and rewards of a gentle diet change, exercise, and supplementation.

Cellulite is basically bulging fat cells that appear through the skin ( the fat cells bulge because they are enlarged and connective tissues are attempting to keep the skin smooth as the cells get larger—that's why you see bulging or puffy skin.

GENTLE DIET CHANGES




If you can cut back on your calories from carbohydrates, the energy required to be active in your day to day life will, eventually lead to fat cell shrinkage-that's the gentle dieting part. Eating high fiber foods that take alot of energy to chew (my personal rule of thumb), also take alot of energy to digest, so this can help you burn fat calories stored in your body creating cellulite. Drinking water regularly, although it doesn't contain calories, stimulates the metabolism because your body has to process it and remove it from the body as urine.

EXERCISE...NOTHING TOO SPECIAL (DON'T WORRY ABOUT TARGETING)!



Don't worry about targeting the area that has cellulite because fat doesn't tone like muscles. Simply perform regular daily activities (for example, walking around at work, checking the mailbox, going to the store, going to school etc..), in addition to organized daily exercise , including walking daily on purpose for 30 minutes. This can definitely contribute to your reduction in cellulite (home workouts are good and very convenient ). Weightlifting sessions speed up the process of cellulite reduction because they burn so much energy, especially energy that is stored in fat cells. (Remember to follow the gentle eating changes I mentioned.)

SUPPLEMENTATION



Fat enters into a special process that through additional supplementation, you can supply your body the nutrients that will support fat cell shrinkage through a "fat shuttle" in the body's mitochondria (I'm a biology professor and exercise scientist if this sounds a bit technical). Here are some supplements that you can try in combination that can assist you. I wouldn't try anymore more than two at time (one works good), considering it takes time to see if certain combinations of the following supplements actually work with your body. When used with an exercise program (gym or home) and gentle diet changes, you should see weightloss results in about two months and eventually as the year goes on, you should see a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
