WHAT IS FASTING?
Fasting is an old tradition that people have used for centuries, but today, many are commonly used for improving health— a twist on benefits for quick results compared to regular modern dieting.
People find themselves dieting to lose weight or to detoxify their bodies from poor diets. A fast can include the traditional Daniel Fast or even temporary water diets lasting only for a few days, though there are many, many others!
HOW DID YOU LIKE THE FOOD?
The common problems that most people have with diet changes is consistency and determining what foods are the best tasting—these problems eventually lead them to giving up on their diet, leading to continuous weight gain or poorer health. Eventually these people find themselves turning to short term diets or fasts to reap the benefits of improved health quickly.
But one thing to keep in mind when turning to a fast and completing it is... how liked the food!
If you like the food from your fast, you can use it later in your regular diet. It keeps down confusion and worry about what you like or don't like, what is healthy or not healthy.
INTRODUCE FASTING FOODS INTO YOUR REGULAR DIET
When the food enjoyed during a fast is selected, don't limit yourself to using that food only for fasting. Why? Because you have found an opportunity to use healthy foods that you enjoy as replacements in your regular diet. It is very beneficial when you are already familiar with healthy food and its taste.

DON'T WANT TO ABUSE A USEFUL THING?
You may not want to use the food that you eat in a fast as your regular nutrition because you fear overeating it or your natural preference is just to keep that food as "fasting food". But seriously consider introducing your fasting nutrition into your regular diet temporarily. This helps with breaking the 'cursed habit' of eating what you know is not is not the best easily. You will find yourself eventually more comfortable replacing unhealthy foods with healthier alternatives, when you have a "fasting stepping stone".
